Make Huge Piles of Gold Mining In Mists of Pandaria
Whenever a new expansion is released for World of Warcraft there’s massive opportunity to make some huge piles of GOLD!
To capitalize on this on these rare gold making opportunities you need to a profession that can offer high return on gold and know which items to farm and exactly where to farm them.
That’s why in the following blog post I want to discuss techniques for making gold in WoW with the mining profession, specifically during the launch of Mists of Pandaria.
Mining is a great profession for making gold in WoW and most players who pursue the mining profession can make gold, however more seasoned players know that the mining profession is a huge gold generator during the first few weeks of a new expansion launch!
So what’s the secret to making gold with mining during a new expansion launch?

The formula is quite simple in essence! You’re going to want to only level your mining profession as far as necessary to move into each new zone.
By doing this you’re going to race ahead of other players into the new zones and scoop up those precious ores!
You’re going to find some of these ores in high demand for the first few weeks of the new expansion and by gathering these materials early on you’ll literally be able to set your price in the auction house for your raw material and make huge piles of gold.
The Wrath of the Lich King and Cataclysm expansions both saw three new ores that players could test their pickaxes and mining skills on and the same is true for the Mists of Pandaria expansion.
The three new ores available for mining are as follows:
- Ghost Iron
Each of the three ores listed are subject to specific zones which is calculated on player level and mining level.
You’ll discover the Ghost Iron ore first in the entry zones of Mists of Pandaria including the Jade Forest, Valley of the Four Winds and Krasarang.
Once you’ve mined and loaded up the Auction House with plenty of Ghost Iron, move on to the Vale of Eternal Blossoms, Dread Wastes, Townlong Steppes and Kun-Lai Summit where you will be able to mine for Manticyte.
Finally you’re going to move into the higher levels of Mists of Pandaria which include Townlong Steppes, Dread Wastes and Vale of Eternal Blossom where you’ll be able to mine for black and white Trillium.
Black and White Trillium are going to be in very high demand and will fetch a high price on the market.
Maximizing Gold In The Shortest Time Possible!
Looking to make as much gold as possible during the Mists of Pandaria launch?
If you really want to put your gold making efforts on steroids during the first few weeks of the Mists of Pandaria expansion release then you should race ahead into the higher level zones and bypass the quests!
Although it’s a more hazardous game-plan you can easily offset the cost of repairs against the huge piles of gold you’ll be making from selling your materials in the auction houses.
The key is to get off the mark quick come the launch of Mists of Pandaria!
